What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese healing modality that uses thin needles to puncture specific points along the body. The technique triggers the body’s healing response and rebalances anything that may not be in alignment. Every treatment is individually tailored to the patient’s needs
What does acupuncture treat?
Though very well known for treating pain disorders, acupuncture is also an internal medicine. It can be effective at treating a wide range of conditions, including, but not limited to diabetes, hypertension, headaches, insomnia, digestive issues, menstrual cycle disorders, fatigue, anxiety, depression, and the list goes on.
How quickly does it work?
This is different for every person, and there is no definitive answer. Typically, patients will notice effects within 3-4 treatments, however, depending on the condition, this can vary drastically. Acupuncture requires consistency and commitment for a number of sessions, typically on a weekly basis, to reap the benefits of its healing power.
