Dr. Franklyn R. Saunders is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist dedicated to supporting women’s health through every stage of life. With extensive experience in the field, he offers comprehensive obstetric care; including prenatal services and delivery; as well as a full range of gynecologic services, from annual wellness exams to advanced surgical procedures.
Dr. Saunders earned his medical degree from the University of the West Indies in Trinidad and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of the West Indies’ joint campus in the Bahamas and Mona, Jamaica.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). His clinical interests and expertise include high-risk pregnancies, infertility evaluation, menopause management, and general female wellness. He is also highly experienced in managing conditions such as endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Dr. Saunders believes in forming strong, trusting partnerships with his patients. He emphasizes compassionate, individualized care and empowers women to make informed decisions about their health.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Saunders enjoys sports, traveling, and fishing.
