Ashley Whylly holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and believes that healing happens through connection. She works with individuals and couples navigating fertility, pregnancy, parenting, and other significant life transitions, as well as those facing relationship challenges, cultural stressors, and identity shifts. Grounded in Relational-Cultural Therapy, Ashley views the therapeutic relationship as a space where clients can feel seen, valued, and understood, fostering the meaningful connections that support growth, resilience, and healing.
Ashley has a particular passion for supporting people through reproductive life stages and its complexities. She works with clients navigating grief, identity shifts, relationship stress, reproductive trauma and mood disorders. Ashley believes there is room for the full spectrum of human experience—joy and anger, gratitude and resentment, wonder and boredom.
Using an attachment-focused, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive lens, Ashley honours the ways that relationships, culture, and lived experiences shape wellbeing. She tailors therapy to each client’s unique needs, drawing from mindfulness, creativity, and somatic approaches when helpful, while never losing sight of the importance of relationship and connection in the healing process.
Ashley offers a warm, collaborative space where clients can navigate uncertainty, deepen self-understanding, and move toward lives and relationships that feel aligned and fulfilling.
