Cardiologist & Cardiac Electrophysiologist
Dr. Rogeolle Morris is the only cardiac electrophysiologist currently practicing in The Bahamas, and she also provides comprehensive general cardiology care. This means patients have access to world-class expertise in both everyday heart health and the most advanced rhythm disorder treatments — without needing to travel abroad.
Dr. Morris completed her Doctor of Medicine (DM) in Internal Medicine at the University of the West Indies before advancing her training in Canada. At the University of Toronto, she trained across four leading hospitals — Toronto Western, Toronto General, Mount Sinai, and St. Michael’s — where she developed expertise in the management of hypertension, heart failure, coronary artery disease, and complex arrhythmias.
As an electrophysiologist, Dr. Morris specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of abnormal heart rhythms, offering advanced therapies such as:
- Catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT)
- Pacemaker and defibrillator (ICD, CRT) implantation and management
- Device interrogation and optimization (Medtronic, Boston Scientific, and Abbott systems)
- Holter monitoring and event recorders for rhythm assessment
- Tailored rhythm management for athletes and active individuals
Her patients value not only her advanced training but also her compassionate, patient-centered approach. She is passionate about bringing cutting-edge technologies in cardiac care to her patients locally, combining clinical excellence with empathy and dedication.
Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Morris is committed to teaching and mentorship, contributing to the development of medical students and residents across the Caribbean.
With Dr. Morris, patients can expect comprehensive, world-class cardiology and heart rhythm care — delivered right here.
