Speech-Language Pathology
Simone Bellot, M.S., CCC-SLP, was born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas, before moving to the US to pursue her career in speech-language pathology. She has clinical experience across the lifespan, spanning pediatric, medical, and neurogenic populations.
She completed her clinical fellowship at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, FL, where she conducted comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and delivered individualized, evidence-based treatment across articulation, language, pragmatics, fluency, voice, AAC, and feeding/swallowing. Her clinical training also spans school-based, outpatient, and acute care settings, including Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Mesulam Center for Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer’s Disease.
Simone earned her Master of Science in Speech, Language and Learning from Northwestern University, where she is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology, and holds her CCC-SLP from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She led an IRB-approved study on morphosyntax and vocabulary development in Bahamian Creole English-speaking preschoolers, published in the Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research, and has presented her work at national conferences including ASHA and NBASLH, where she also served on the national Board of Directors for the 2024–2026 term
